PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooker which reduces temperature holding time while clarifying the setting reference and which a user can confidently use consciously of saving electric power consumption. SOLUTION: The cooker includes: a heating coil 7 for heating an inner pot housed inside the body case; an inner pot temperature detector 11 for detecting the temperature of the inner pot; a controller 15 for controlling the heating coil 7; and a cooking information operation part 13 which, in entering a temperature holding step for holding the temperature of the inner pot at a prescribed level after completion of heating, averages out a power consumption measured by a power consumption measuring part 9 with an elapsed time in the temperature holding step as measured by the measuring part 10, and which sets the duration of the temperature holding step using this averaged value.
