FOLDABLE MOBILE PHONE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a foldable mobile phone capable of displaying and operating non-voice information, such as characters and diagrams, received in its folded and compact state. SOLUTION: A first displaying means 4, consisting of a liquid crystal display device, etc., is provided on the outer surface of a first main body housing 1. Near the first displaying means 4, there are provided a non-voice radio communication service start button 5, scroll buttons 6a and 6b, and a selection decision button 7. A second displaying means 8 is provided on the inner surface of the first main body housing, and an antenna 9 is provided on a side surface of a second main body housing 2 in a freely and obliquely upward insertable and extractable way. A magnet 18 is built in the housing 1, and a lead switch 19 is built in the housing 2. When the main body housings are closed, the lead switch 19 is turned ON, and when the main body housings are opened, the lead switch 19 is turned OFF to detect the opened/closed state of the main body housings.
