IMAGE PROCESSOR AND IMAGE PROCESSING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem regarding security, wherein a person other than a user who instructs a printing job can indicate restart, when restarting the stopped print job concerning an image processor, having an interrupt function of temporarily stopping the printing job in progress and performing another printing job ahead. SOLUTION: A system control part 51 gives an instruction of a job performing part 53 to perform the first job, which is instructed, based on the first authentication to authenticate the first user by an authentication part 52, the temporary stop of the first job, based on an interruption indication to be inputted, and the second job, while the first job is being temporarily stopped. The system control part 51 includes an interrupted job management table 12 for storing stoppage information of the first job in the temporary stop. After the termination of the second job, the authentication part 52 is instructed to authenticate the second authentication, based on user information that is to be inputted. When the authentication is performed to authenticate the first user, the job performing part 53 is instructed to restart the first job which is temporarily stopped. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
