Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a satisfactory sideways flow preventive effect by effectively reinforcing the banking support ground by improving soil having a low improvement rate. SOLUTION: A soil improvement body 3 of a unit length supporting at least the peripheral edge part of a banking 1 is constructed in the banking support ground 2, the soil improvement body is laid along the longitudinal direction of the banking, and the middle part of the unit length is like a bent wall bent to the inside of the banking the batter pile, thereby increasing its out-of-plane rigidity. A plurality of bent wall-like soil improvement bodies are arranged in the longitudinal direction of the banking. The end parts of the adjacent soil improvement bodies are connected to each other through another soil improvement body (a soil improvement pile 5). The bent wall-like soil improvement bodies are respectively constructed on the opposite peripheral edge parts of the banking, and core materials are fixed to the upper parts of both soil improvement bodies, respectively.
