REINFORCING STRUCTURE OF BANKING SUPPORT GROUND

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a satisfactory sideways flow preventive effect by effectively reinforcing the banking support ground by improving soil having a low improvement rate. SOLUTION: A soil improvement body 3 supporting at least the peripheral edge part of a banking 1 is constructed in the banking support ground 2, and a core material 6 having tensile yield strength is integrally fixed to the upside of the soil improvement body to increase the bending yield strength at the upside of the soil improvement body. When the soil improvement body is wall-like along the width direction of a banking, the core material is fixed to the inner upper part in the width direction. In the case of providing soil improvement body on both sides of the banking, respectively, and connecting both of them using a tension member, the core material is fixed to the outer upper parts of the in the width direction of both soil improvement bodies, respectively, and the tension member is connected to the upper parts of the core materials.
