Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an article sorting device capable of certainly detecting that an article is discharged from a tilting chute regardless of a shape of the article, and simplifying its handling. SOLUTION: The article sorting device discharging an article M carried by a carrying means to the tilting chute 110 disposed at a predetermined position comprises a charging portion 112 making a surface of the article M charged at an upper part of the tilting chute 110 when the article slides down, an electric charge detecting portion 113 detecting that the article M slides down in the tilting chute 110 by detecting the electro-static charge amount of the article M at a lower part than the charging portion 112, and a static eliminating portion 116 eliminating electrical charge charged on the surface of the article M at a further lower part than the electric charge detecting portion 113.
