Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a protective polyester film for a photosensitive adhesive resin which has good preservability as a protective film, which can be smoothly exfoliated and transfer of which to a photosensitive adhesive resin surface is extremely small at the time of exfoliation and which is suitable for various optical uses or the like. SOLUTION: The protective polyester film for the photosensitive adhesive resin has a coating layer at least on one side and simultaneously satisfies formula (1): CwC≥90 and formula (2): CwT≤20, wherein CwC denotes a waterdrop contact angle (°) of a coating layer surface and CwT denotes variation (°) of the waterdrop contact angle of a pressurized surface of a polyethylene terephthalate film when the polyethylene terephthalate film of 38 μm thickness and the coating layer surface are brought into press-contact with each other with press-contacting force of 10 kg/cm2for 10 minutes under environment of 20±2°C and 65±5%RH.
