RADIO DEVICE, CONTROL METHOD, AND PROGRAM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a user to transmit a command according to a situation while inhibiting an input error when accessing from a mobile radio device 28 to a VoIP node station 20 in an EchoLink system 10. SOLUTION: A user registers a call sign of each node station 20 as a character string in each channel number of the memory of a radio device 28. Since the error of the call sign can be apparently identified, a correct call sign is expected to be registered. When accessing to the node station, the user designates a channel number and presses down a key corresponding to a wanted command, such key as "C", "0"→"7", (S52 and S54). The radio device 28, based on the specified conversion table, converts the sign to the corresponding EchoLink code, starting with the top character of the call sign, and generates the corresponding code string of the call sign (S53 and S55).
