RADIO WAVE ABSORBER AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREOF

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio wave absorber which can easily be manufactured and has proper radio wave absorption characteristics, and to provide a manufacturing method therefor. SOLUTION: The radio wave absorber has a top surface of a map type fiber aggregation, having a radio wave reflecting layer provided on its reverse surface is coated dispersedly, with dielectric loss paint and the rate of surface coating rate of the surface with cured bodies of the paint is 30 to 50%. The cured bodies are, preferably, distributed substantially uniformly and, more preferably, dotted separated from one another. The respective cured bodies may be formed into a predetermined plane shape. The mat type fiber aggregation can be coated with the dielectric loss paint by a flow coater or printing.
