PLASMA DISPLAY PANEL, AND MANUFACTURING METHOD OF PLASMA DISPLAY PANEL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plasma display panel which can improve degree of adhesion in a display region, and a manufacturing method of the plasma display panel. SOLUTION: The front face substrate 3 and the rear face substrate 2 of a PDP1A are adhered in a state that the outer edges of the faces which connect the highest part of a barrier rib 24 exist in the peripheral part of the display region, and the outer edges of the faces which connect the lowest part of the barrier rib 24 exist in the center part of the display region. For that reason, the amount of electric discharge gas in a discharging space H positioned in the center part of the display region can be reduced compared with that in the discharging space H positioned in the peripheral part of the display region. Accordingly, a pressure difference between discharge gas pressure in the center part and atmospheric pressure can be increased compared with that of the peripheral part, and the degree of adhesion of the front face substrate 3 to the rear face substrate 2 can be improved without devising the peripheral structure of the front face substrate 3 and the rear face substrate 2 in the display region.
