Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell power generation unit capable of discharging smoothly water from a gas piping even water such as storage water flowing in large volume temporarily at the time of power generation start and having no possibility of preventing circulation of gas and no possibility of causing a drop in power generation voltage. SOLUTION: An anode exit cut-off valve 3 which closes at the time of operation stop is inserted in the intermediate part of an anode gas exhaust tube 1ab in which the anode exit gas from the fuel cell main body 1 flows, and a buffer tank 4a which stores storage water or the like is connected to the lower stream side end part of the anode gas exhaust tube 1ab so as to be located at the lower part of the fuel cell main body 1 by installing a gas supply port to be connected to a gas supply piping 4aa at the upper part and a float valve 4b to discharge the storage water at the lower part.
