Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disk cartridge which does not require a person to hold a disk with his or her hand when the disk is inserted in the disk cartridge. SOLUTION: The disk cartridge is provided with: a case 1 which includes an upper side member 2 and a lower side member 3, which are opposite to each other with a prescribed distance, and side walls, and rotatably accommodates a disk 5, to which information is recorded; an aperture part through which the disk 5 is inserted or taken out and which is formed in one of the side walls; a cover 71 which opens and closes the aperture part; and a supporting part which supports the cover 71 so that the cover 71 may rotate in a plane parallel to the upper-side member 2 and the lower-side member 3.
