OPTICAL DISK DRIVE AND OPTICAL DISK PROCESSING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical disk drive for executing hash processing in accordance with the error presence/no presence signal of an optical disk, and an optical disk processing method. SOLUTION: The optical disk drive has: a reading part (11) for reading data from an optical disk and outputting read information; a determining part (12) for determining the presence/no presence of an error of the read information and outputting the error presence/no presence signal; a transfer processing part (17) for receiving the error presence/no presence signal from the determining part, receiving a hash request signal for requesting performance of hash processing, transferring the hash request signal when the error presence/no presence signal indicates no error, and transferring no hash request signal when the error presence/no presence signal indicates the presence of an error; and a processing part (21) for performing hash processing for the read information when receiving the hash request signal from the transfer processing part.
