DETECTION METHOD OF TARGET SUBSTANCE, MIXED PARTICLES AND DETECTION REAGENT OF TARGET SUBSTANCE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a detection method of a target substance enhanced in sensitivity, having a wide measuring range and excellent in storage stability; to provide mixed particles usable in the detection method; and to provide a detection reagent of the target substance using the mixed particles. SOLUTION: The detection method of the target substance includes the process of bringing a specimen into contact with a mixed particle dispersion containing colored particles or uncolored particles and the process of optically detecting the flocculation of the mixed particles produced in the contact process. An antibody or antigen with respect to a predetermined target substance is fixed to the respective colored and uncolored particles and both particles have an average particle size of 0.03-1 μm.
