Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of electrolyzing a sodium chloride aqueous solution which is industrially advantageous by effectively using water used in a process. SOLUTION: The method of electrolyzing the sodium chloride aqueous solution comprising a raw salt dissolving step, a filtering step, a chelate resin treating step, an electrolytic step by an ion exchange membrane system, a dechlorination step and a sodium sulfate removal step is provided with a waste water recovery step for adding an alkali agent into a chelate resin recovery waste water discharged from the chelate resin treating step and containing hardness components to precipitate the hardness components, solid/liquid-separating the precipitated hardness components to recover treated water, adjusting the pH of the treated water and circulating the treated water to the raw salt dissolving step to use as dissolving water for the raw salt.
