Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of an ultralow-sulfur fuel oil and a manufacturing apparatus therefor for manufacturing an ultralow-sulfur fuel oil useful as a base material of gas oil or a base material of gasoline from light cycle oil (LCO) distilled out by fluidized catalytic cracking of hydrocarbon oil. SOLUTION: The manufacturing apparatus 100 is provided with a separation device 10 for separating a light cycle oil (LCO) fraction distilled out from a fluidized catalytic cracking (FCC) apparatus into a lighter light cycle oil (LLCO) fraction and a heavier light cycle oil (HLCO) fraction, a first hydrodesulfurization device 20 for hydrodesulfurizing the LLCO fraction, a second hydrodesulfurization device 30 for hydrodesulfurizing the HLCO fraction and a hydrocracking device 40 for hydrocracking the desulfurized HLCO fraction.
