Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of an ultralow-sulfur gas oil and a manufacturing apparatus therefor for manufacturing an ultralow-sulfur gas oil useful as gas oil from light cycle oil (LCO) distilled out by fluidized catalytic cracking of hydrocarbon oil. SOLUTION: The manufacturing apparatus 100 is provided with a separation apparatus 10 for fractionally distilling a lighter light cycle oil (LLCO) fraction from LCO distilled out from an FCC apparatus and a hydrodesulfurization treatment apparatus 20 for hydrodesulfurizing the LLCO fraction. In the practice of the present invention, the separation step is carried out in the separation device 10 and the hydrodesulfurization step is carried out in the hydrodesulfurization treatment device 20.
