Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a solar battery cell, capable of obtaining a fill factor identical to that of as a conventional one without causing peeling of a surface electrode even when the surface electrode is made to be slender and thinned. SOLUTION: The manufacturing method of the solar battery cell is provided with (a) a step of forming a rear surface Al electrode 4 containing aluminum on the rear surface of a p-type silicon substrate 1 as a cell main body; and (b) a step of forming a front surface electrode 7 containing silver having ionizing tendency smaller than that of aluminum and glass on the front surface of the p-type silicon substrate 1. The method is further provided with (c) a step of sintering the p-type silicon substrate 1 after the steps (a) and (b), and (d) a step of immersing the p-type silicon substrate 1 in a dilute hydrofluoric acid containing silver, as a metal ion, having ionizing tendency smaller than that of aluminum, after the step (c).
