Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a detergent composition which does not adversely affect the penetration into fibers when a material composed of delicate fibers to be washed is washed by a weak mechanical force. SOLUTION: The liquid detergent composition comprises 10-50 mass% nonionic surface active agent of a polyalkylene ether, and 15-85 mass%, based on the entire amount of the above nonionic surface active agent, is a nonionic surface active agent (a) represented by formula (1) (wherein R1is C(m-2)H2(m-2)+1; R2is CmH2m+1; m=4-6; and the average value of n is 3-10) and 2-85 mass%, based on the entire amount of the above nonionic surface active agent, is a nonionic surface active agent (b) having a structure of formula (2): R3O(CH2CH2O)pH (wherein R3is a 10-22C straight-chain hydrocarbon group and the average value of p is 10-20).
