Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for efficiently control the foam produced when a molten material encounters the pressure reduction in a vacuum chamber with regard to reduced pressure fining, a method for removing trapped bubbles in molten material, e.g., molten glass. SOLUTION: The method comprises flowing the foam 45 produced when the molten material encounters the pressure reduction in a vacuum chamber 24 from the vacuum chamber to a foam chamber 68, flowing out the molten material between the air bubbles of the foam, and breaking the air bubbles of flowing out foam of the molten material by a froth breaking means 54.
