SCISSORS FOR CUTTING PIPES

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide scissors capable of cutting pipes made of a synthetic resin with one hand and relatively less power. SOLUTION: A pair of blades, cutting blade 1 and a receiving blade 2, is rotatably borne at the axis 3. The cutting blade 1 has a middle blade edge 4 projecting in the direction of rotation in the middle between the blade bottom and the blade edge. Between the middle blade edge 4 and the blade bottom, the first cutting blade 5 is formed and the second blade 6 is formed on the upper part from the middle blade edge 4. Cutting is initiated so that the middle blade edge 4 pierces the pipe to be cut supported by the receiving blade 2 first, and the cutting proceeds under the condition where the pipe is opened by the first cutting blade 5 and the second cutting blade 6, not in the direction of being crushed.
