INSULATOR PROTECTION MECHANISM FOR OIL-IMMERSED ELECTRICAL FACILITY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an insulator protection mechanism for oil-immersed electrical facility, which prevents the generation of secondary trouble, such as leakage of oil, blackout or the like, after the insulator is broken away from the main body of the oil-immersed electrical facility due to the abnormal rise of main body internal pressure in the oil-immersed electrical facility. SOLUTION: The insulator protecting mechanism for the oil-immersed electrical facility, constituted so as to be provided with a casing made of a metal as a main body 100 and the insulator 106 for retaining a conductor penetrated through the inside and the outside of the main body 100 is provided on the side surface of the main body 100, is provided with a cover unit 5, provided so as to cover the site of the insulator 106 projected from the main body 100 to the outside to prevent the invasion of rain water into the main body 100 from the site where the insulator 106 is provided, and a regulating unit 6, arranged below the cover unit 5 so as to be opposed to the insulator 106, while the regulating unit 6 is constituted so as to regulate the amount of movement of the insulator 106 for the movement of the insulator 106 which tries to be broken away from the main body 100 with an abnormal rise of internal pressure of the main body 100.
