PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a playback device wherein desired music can be easily searched by easily performing recognition of each piece of music by a user when music stored in the playback device having a large capacity storage part is searched. SOLUTION: The playback device is provided with the storage part storing a plurality of pieces of music and setting point data designating a setting point to be a start point playing back each music of the plurality of pieces of music from a half way, a control part performing instruction to sequentially playback each music stored in the storage part for a fixed time from the setting point when a playback start signal is received and a playback part converting the music stored in the storage part into an audio signal and outputting the audio signal based on the instruction from the control part.
