Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a torque converter equipped with a means to avoid rattling in the torque converter clutch under operation in the torque converter mode and reduce the drag while improving the cooling flow as well. SOLUTION: A first pressure chamber 204 is provided which is fluid-communicated with a second pressure chamber 206 through the torque converter clutch 202 and is fluid-communicated with an annular space 230. A flow control element 208 is provided which is arranged so as to form an opening between the first and second chambers during the torque-converter mode for the torque converter.
