Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a regeneration pipe member and a method for regenerating a pipeline, which is easily connected to each other at the end faces. SOLUTION: The regeneration pipe member 10 contains non-diameter reducing portions 12 formed in both the ends, and a diameter reducing portion 14 formed by sandwiching between the non-diameter reducing portions 12. The non-diameter reducing portions 12 have a shape as it remains just extruded. The diameter reducing portion 14 has a diameter reducing shape in which the outside diameter is deformed less than the non-diameter reducing portion 12. When an existing pipe 50 is regenerated using the regeneration pipe member 10, the work is repeated as needed as follows: the non-diameter reducing portions 12 of the preceding regeneration pipe member 10 are connected to the non-diameter reducing portions 12 of the succeeding regeneration pipe member 10, the connected non-diameter reducing portions 12 are reduced in diameter, and the regeneration pipe member 10 reduced in diameter by connecting the non-diameter reducing portion 12 is inserted into the existing pipe 50. After the regeneration pipe member 10 is completed to insert for the whole length of the regeneration portion of the existing pipe 50, the regeneration pipe member 10 is recovered in a shape to a non-diameter shape by heating a fluid to form a regenerated pipeline.
