UNIVERSAL GRIPPING STICK

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a universal gripping stick improved in working efficiency and excellent in operability and handleability, which stably grips an object of various shapes and sizes, cutting the object if necessary, and holds it as it is, and easily grips the object even in a place complicated with members. SOLUTION: This universal gripping stick is provided with a rod body 3, and at least two claw members 2 arranged in the front end of the rod body 3. At least one of the claw members 2 is a movable claw 4 rotatable having a root section as a fulcrum, and the movable claw 4 is rotated to close the claw members 2, thereby holding and gripping an object to be gripped from a direction opposed to the object. The claw members 2 are attached freely rotatably to the rod body 3 via a bracket 15. The bracket 15 is provided with a flange section 17 with a plurality of through-holes 18 formed inside the rim. The flange section 17 is fixed in the rod body 3 via the front end of the rod body 3 and a knob 16 inserted in the through-holes 18. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
