PUNCH PRESS PROVIDED WITH HIGH-SPEED AXIAL FEEDING MEANS AND HIGH-SPEED NIBBLING WORK METHOD USING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a punch press provided with a high-speed axial feeding means with which high-speed nibbling work of the extent of 3,000 (hits/min) is performed and a nibbling method using the punch press. SOLUTION: In the moving/positioning device of the punch press in which a workpiece is clamped with a Y-axis moving body 5 which is provided so as to be freely moved and positioned in the Y-axis direction, an X-axial moving body 21 which is provided so as to be freely moved and positioned in the X-axis direction on the Y-axis moving body and a workpiece clamp 35 provided to the X-axis moving body and the workpiece is continuously moved at least in either direction of the X-axis direction or the Y-axis direction, this punch press is provided with the high-speed axial feeding device in which the workpiece clamp is provided movably at the almost same speed as the speed when the workpiece is moved in the opposite direction to the direction in which the moving body is continuously moved and also the workpiece clamping and positioning means with which the workpiece clamp can be moved and positioned at least in either direction of the X-axis direction or the Y-axis direction is provided to the X-axis moving body.
