DIAGNOSTIC IMAGING SUPPORT SYSTEM, ITS METHOD, AND ITS PROGRAM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a diagnostic imaging support system capable of reducing FP, corresponding to the position deviation or rotation of a shade in an image, and rapidly performing previous learning, and to provide a diagnostic imaging support method and a diagnostic imaging support program. SOLUTION: The partial image of an area in prescribed size, including the shade, included in a medical tomographic image is extracted, thereby extracting the partial image of an area corresponding to the extracted partial image from a medical tomographic image which is adjacent to the medical tomographic image including the shade. The amount of a continuous component concerning the continuity of the shade between the respective partial images is calculated, thereby determining whether or not the shade is an abnormal shade candidate, based on the amount of the continuous component. Inclination segment information constituting the shape of the shade is extracted by using a Gabor filter with respect to the shade determined to be the abnormal shade candidate. The featured value of the shade is calculated based on the inclination segment information, and then, whether the shade is the abnormal shade or not is determined based on the featured value.
