TOILET UNIT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a user-friendly toilet unit even for a person with paralysis. SOLUTION: The toilet unit includes: a first lining which is provided so as to project from the first wall surface of a toilet booth, and shielded at least on front surface and upper surface; a toilet installed on the front surface of the first lining; a second lining which is provided so as to project from a second wall surface substantially orthogonal to the first wall surface of the toilet booth, and shielded at least on front surface and upper surface; an operation means provided near the upper end of the front surface of the second lining at the side part of the toilet; and a handrail provided with a horizontal part substantially parallel with the front surface of the second lining, the horizontal part being provided below the operation means. The upper surface of the first lining and the upper surface of the second lining are provided in a connected condition so as to be at almost the same height, and difference in height between the sitting part of the toilet and the upper surface of the second lining is ≥300 mm and ≤400 mm.
