Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide communication equipment capable of achieving the transmission processing of multimedia data at a high speed while suppressing an initial cost for manufacture. SOLUTION: A division data storage part reads encoded data stored in an encoded data area 301a, calculates a checksum for each prescribed size, and successively stores the calculated checksum and the encoded data (block data) of the corresponding prescribed size in the first area 311 of each packet data area 310, 310b or the like of an external memory 110. By executing a program, when the division data storage part stores the block data and the checksum in the first area 311 of each packet data area, a CPU reads the successively stored checksum, generates header information including the read checksum and stores it in the second area 312 of the packet data area where the checksum is stored.
