Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact cheap mode select type semiconductor laser device, and an optical tweezers using the same. SOLUTION: The semiconductor laser device has: a semiconductor laser; an external resonator for receiving emitted light from the semiconductor laser; a moving means for moving the external resonator to a direction perpendicular to an optical axis of the emitted light; and a mode converter for receiving emitted light from the external resonator. According to this semiconductor laser device, with a compact and simple structure, it is possible to easily output HG beams of a TEM00mode to a TEM015mode, and LG beams of a high quality TEM*01to a TEM*015.
