LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display device to reduce the manufacturing cost. SOLUTION: The liquid crystal display device includes: a liquid crystal display panel 104 having a first pad 105 for displaying a predetermined image; a light guide plate 118 for providing light supplied to an edge of the light guide plate to the liquid crystal display panel placed above the plate; a bottom chassis 122 where the light guide plate is stably fixed and having at least one slit hole 130 in an outer side; and a flexible printed circuit board placed at the back of the light guide plate and including a second pad 202 coupled to the first pad and at least one fixture 204 containing a light emitting diode 206 that supplies light to the light guide plate, inserted through the above slit hole; wherein a lower portion and an upper portion of the fixture with respect to the light emitting diode have different heights from each other.
