CUT SLAG REMOVING DEVICE FOR CAST SLAB

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cut slag removing device reducing the size of an installation and capable of removing cut slag even when a cast beam blank is shifted from the cut slag removing device when carried and of also cutting cut slag of a cast slab having a tetragonal cross section such as a cast bloom. SOLUTION: This cut slag removing device 1 is provided with a main cutting tool 2 having a shape fitted to a cut face recessed part 27d of a cast beam blank 27; a preceding cutting tool 5 attached to the main cutting tool 2 and vertically slidable with respect to the main cutting tool 2; a push-up member 14 for protruding the preceding cutting tool 5 upwardly with respect to the main cutting tool 2; a cutting tool rest 11 for mounting the main cutting tool 2 slidably in the width direction; a restoring member 18 for restoring the main cutting tool 2 to the central position of the cutting tool rest 11; a flat cutting tool 9 attached to the cutting tool rest 11 and vertically slidably with respect to the cutting tool rest 11; a flat cutting tool push-up member 17 for protruding the flat cutting tool 9 upwardly with respect to the main cutting tool 2; and a lifting/lowering device 12 for vertically moving the cutting tool rest 11.
