Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device capable of suppressing a fringe pattern. SOLUTION: The display device 1 is provided with: a light source 7 provided on one end surface 2c of a light guide plate 2; the light guide plate 2 on which a plurality of recessed parts 11 having a plane-like reflection surface 11a for reflecting light from the light source 7 to the side of the display surface 2a; protection boards 3, 4 arranged on both sides between the light guide plate; and dot-like spacers 5, 6 attached at a state that it is periodically arranged in the protection boards 3, 4 in order to form a fixed gap between the protection boards 3, 4 and the light guide plate 2.
