Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a current sensor that can detect large current and reduces power consumption. SOLUTION: This current sensor 100 detects current flowing through a bus bar 12 based on current supplied to a first feedback coil 16 and a second feedback coil 17 to make zero the detection output of a Hall element 14. A magnetic shield object 65 magnetically shields the Hall element 14, the first feedback coil 16, and second feedback coil 17 from an external magnetic field by covering them with an upper magnetic shield member 62 and lower magnetic shield member 63. In the covered state, cavities 67 and 68 are formed between the upper magnetic shield member 62 and lower magnetic shield member 63. When the cavities 67 and 68 are formed, the magnetic field strength applied to a magnetism sensitive surface of the Hall element 14 is reduced comparing with the case where the cavities 67 and 68 are not formed.
