Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust heat recovering system capable of storing excess heat generated in heating by utilizing a cogeneration system, being operated for a long time without stopping an engine and the like, and effectively utilizing the stored heat. SOLUTION: This exhaust heat recovering system is composed of a power generating portion 2, a hot water supply heating portion 3 and an auxiliary heat storage tank unit 121. The power generating portion 2 comprises a generator mounted with a gas engine 5. The hot water supply heating portion 3 comprises a main heat storage tank 31, and the main heat storage tank 31 can store hot water (heat medium) in a state of forming a temperature lamination. The auxiliary heat storage tank unit 121 comprises an auxiliary heat storage tank 122, and can store heat in a heat storage member. The auxiliary heat storage tank unit 121 has a heat introduction passage 123 and a heat discharge passage 125 passing the inside of the auxiliary heat storage tank 122, and a first bypass flow channel 126 and a second bypass flow channel 127 for bypassing them.
