MALE THREAD PART, DRIVER AND METHOD FOR REMOVING MALE THREAD PART

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the manufacturing cost of a male thread part and the driver provided with a first driving hole and a second driving hole, and to facilitate working such as pulling out the male thread part which is stripped. SOLUTION: The first driving hole 6 of the male thread part 1 has a cylindrical inner peripheral surface 6a. The radius of the inner peripheral surface 6a is greater than the distance from the center of the second driving hole 7 to the outermost portion. When removing the male thread part 1, the driver 15 is provided with a retaining member 21 and retaining member expanding and contracting means 17, 18, 19 for expanding and contracting the outside diameter of the retainer 21. After the tip of the retaining member 21 is inserted into the first driving hole 6, the circumference of the tip of the retaining member 21 is expanded to press against the inner peripheral surface of the first driving hole 6. The male thread part 1 is pulled out of a member to be fastened by operating the driver 15 so that the retaining member 21 is moved axially rearward while rotating. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
