PROTECTIVE METAL FITTING FOR WATERPROOF LAYER END

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a protective metal fitting for a waterproof layer end, which is easy to mount, low in cost, easy to inspect, and reusable. SOLUTION: The protective fitting 1 for the waterproof layer end 20a functions to fix the rising end 20a of a waterproof layer 20 mounted on a roof floor of a building, at a location facing an inner side of a parapet, to the parapet P itself, and to prevent rainwater infiltration from the waterproof layer end 20a. The protective fitting is formed of: a long retaining fitting 2 consisting of a first side surface 2a abutted on the waterproof layer 20, and a second side surface 2b extending from one edge of the first side surface 2a; and a long water dripping fitting 3 detachably fixed to the second side surface 2b of the retaining fitting 2.
