Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin having a polyimide structure exhibiting excellent ultraviolet screening effect on both of UV-A and UV-B ultraviolet rays and having excellent optical properties free from unnatural absorption and scattering in the visible light region, a powder and a cosmetic containing a powder having a polyimide structure. SOLUTION: The invention relates to a polyimide particle having extremely high ultraviolet screening effect comparable to that of titanium oxide, and a cosmetic which has good application feeling, is free from unnatural whiteness in use, exhibits excellent ultraviolet screening effect and is produced by compounding polyimide particles in a cosmetic. The invention provides an ultraviolet screening resin having a specific polyimide structure, a powder composed of the resin and a cosmetic composition compounded with the powder.
