VEHICULAR SUSPENSION SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular suspension system having high practicability. SOLUTION: In the vehicular suspension system, a suspension spring, a hydraulic absorber, and an approaching/separating force generator having an actuator for changing an approaching/separating force in a controllable manner according to the operational position of the actuator itself depending on a motor force are juxtaposed. When the approaching/separating force is applied as a damping force to sprung vibration, the target operational position (dotted line (b)) of the actuator to be determined according to a sprung absolute speed is changed so that the changing speed of the target operational position does not exceed the set changing speed (one-dot-chain line (b)). According to the system, the operation of the actuator can be allowed to follow, for example, the change of the target operational position, eliminating a problem to be caused by the operational position of the actuator which cannot follow the target operational position.
