WASHING MACHINE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pulsator-type washing machine which washing and drying of laundry without the laundry distorting or tangling with as little water as possible can be achieved. SOLUTION: A pulsator 4 installed at the bottom of the washing machine is provided with a base section 4a which surface is formed on an inclined surface by one end side of the top surface being lowered and the other end side of the top surface on the opposite side being heightened and a wing section 4b which is installed on a standing manner on the inclined surface of the base section and extends in the direction of the inclination of the inclined surface. The base section 4a is separated by the wing section 4b and is provided with two side surfaces of the base section formed on the inclined surface that is heightened with different inclination from the edge of the base section towards the wing section 4b. A control means 110 controls the duration of the normal rotation which corresponds to the washing on the gentle slope of the pulsator 4 to be longer than the duration of the reverse rotation which corresponds to the washing on the steep slope.
