Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent excessive current from being passed at a quick stop due to dynamic braking with respect to a motor control circuit that controls a motor through an inverter circuit. SOLUTION: The motor control circuit is so constructed that the following is implemented: a motor is driven by supplying the motor with alternating-current voltage through the inverter circuit having switching elements, such as field effect transistors, on the high side and on the low side; and the motor is quickly stopped by simultaneously turning on the switching elements on the high side or low side of the inverter circuit to short-circuit motor terminals to each other. The motor control circuit is provided with a DUTY adjustment circuit that makes it possible to change the cycle or pulse width with which control is carried out to repetitively and simultaneously turn on and off the switching elements on the high side or low side of the inverter circuit.
