FOLDING TYPE TERMINAL DEVICE AND DISPLAY METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a folding type terminal device and a display method through which desired information can be obtained in either of open and closed states without additionally providing an outside display unit capable of displaying an image alone. SOLUTION: Provided is the folding type terminal device including an inside display unit 116 forming a portion of an inside surface in the closed state, a display control unit 112 which controls display contents on the inside display unit 116, and a light guide unit 118 which faces the portion of the inside display unit 116 in the closed state and guides the image displayed on the inside display unit 116 to outside the folding type terminal device. With this configuration wherein no outside display unit is installed on the folding type terminal device, the image is guided to the light guide unit 118 facing the inside display unit 116 in the closed state only by mounting the inside display unit 116 and the portion or whole of the inside display unit 116 can be displayed outside in a folded state (closed state).
