CONNECTOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector which firmly locks a header and a socket together and yet facilitates plugging/pullout of the header in/from the socket. SOLUTION: The socket 10 has a lock hole 19 on the peripheral wall 14 of a socket body 12, the lock hole 19 being a through-hole extending through the exterior and interior of the socket body 12. The header 30 has a lock piece 38 of a hooked shape extending outward from the exterior wall surface of a header body 32 that is an engaging face engaging with a slot 13 of the socket body 12. The lock piece 38 is formed to correspond in position to the lock hole 19. As a result, engaging the socket body 12 with the header body 32 causes the front end of the hooked shape to come into the lock hole 19 to engage the hooked shape with the lock hole 19.
