Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device favorable for changing a display direction on a monitor of a mobile computer, after the mobile computer is rotated physically by a user. SOLUTION: This method changes the display direction on the monitor 106 of the mobile computer 100, after the mobile computer 100 is rotated physically by the user. The propriety of constancy within a prescribed time is determined as to a new physical arrangement, when detecting the physical rotation of the mobile computer 100. The mobile computer 100 detects continuously the presence of the physical rotation, when the new physical arrangement is changed within the prescribed time. The display direction on the monitor 106 of the mobile computer 100 is regulated to be matched to the new physical arrangement, when the new physical arrangement is not changed within the prescribed time.
