Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To minimize the wetting of the wall surface of a combustion chamber when fuel in an internal combustion engine is directly injected into a working chamber by an injection nozzle having a plurality of injection holes in a shape of pilot injection and main injection and the pilot injection is executed by measuring a time in the internal combustion engine provided with a compression ignition device. SOLUTION: The injection nozzle 13 is arranged in a cylinder center axis area of a cylinder head 10 in the combustion chamber, and a piston concave part 6 is formed at a piston head 7 in the combustion chamber. A projection is formed roughly at the center of the piston concave part. The pull-up of a needle valve of the injection nozzle is adjusted to control a range of a fuel injection jet.
