Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for preparing a water-soluble antigen substance (ASMP) including a polysaccharide and/or a glycopeptide. SOLUTION: The invention relates to the method for preparing the antigen substance (ASMP) that includes the polysaccharide and/or the glycopeptide and is soluble in an aqueous solution and comprises following steps: a step in which the fungal cells of keratinophlic fungi such as Trichophytons, Microsporums or Candidas, or fungal cells of yeast are treated under an aqueous alkali condition; a step in which the treated product is separated into a solid phase and a liquid phase; a step in which after the separation, the supernatant is treated with a mineral acid or an organic acid; and a step in which after the separation, ASMP is precipitated from the supernatant.
