Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an airbag control device capable of enhancing the degree of versatility of arrangement of a sensor while adequately deploying an airbag and reducing the number of components at low cost. SOLUTION: An airbag mechanism 100 is provided on a lower part of a glove box 3 and stores an electrostatic capacity sensor 10, an airbag device 20 and an angle adjusting motor 30 in a storage part 37. A detection electrode 12 of the electrostatic capacity sensor 10 detects the electrostatic capacity C which is changed by the interposition of a part of a human body 49 between the storage part 37 and at least a fore end of a front passenger seat 40. Whether or not the electrostatic capacity C is within a workable range is determined by a detection circuit 13, and various kinds of states of the front passenger seat 40 can be recognized thereby.
