Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polishing device of a steam turbine capable of greatly recovering the performance of the steam turbine within a range of a limited amount of a time by minimizing an amount of waste caused by polishing. SOLUTION: This polishing device is provided with a retaining mechanism 6, a jet mechanism 5 for jetting a polishing grain formed of a polishing material 2 covered on the surface of an elastic body 1, and a recovery mechanism 8 connected to the jet mechanism via a circulation line 7 to receive and recover the polishing grain jetted to an object to be polished. Moreover, a separation mechanism 9 is connected to the recovery mechanism 8 via a draw-out line 13, and the polishing material separated by the separation mechanism and dropped off form the surface of the polishing grain and an oxidized scale stemming from the object to be polished are recovered in a dust collection tank 10. A reproduction mechanism 12 is connected to the separation mechanism 9, and with respect to the polishing grain separated by the separation mechanism with a part of or all of the polishing materials dropped off, a reproduced polishing grain 15 is produced in the reproduction mechanism.
