PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve convenience in use by improving work efficiency in a manufacturer and surely preventing the execution of programs for the manufacturer, which are unnecessary at home. SOLUTION: This home electric appliance includes a display part (a liquid crystal display part 15), mechanical switches 28-30, a touch switch 33, and a storage means (ROM 48) storing a plurality of programs; and among the programs are a program for users allowing a user to execute it by the operation of the mechanical switches 28-30 and the touch switch 33, a plurality of programs for the manufacturer allowing the manufacturer to execute them by the operation of the mechanical switches 28-30 and the touch switch 33, and a selection program executed by at least the operation of the mechanical switch 28 and allowing the selection of one by the display of the display part 15 out of the plurality of programs for the manufacturer according to at least the operation of the touch switch 33.
